About Me
I’m Marcy Moreland — an interior designer, licensed general contractor, and product designer based in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. I create homes that are personal, unique, and globally inspired, blending timeless style with bold, curated details. Every project is guided by my hands-on approach, from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless, boutique experience for each client.
My love of design and architecture began in childhood. Visiting my grandmother’s antique store in St. Louis and exploring estate sales instilled in me a passion for spaces that feel familiar and nostalgic, yet glamorous and bold. I’ve carried that inspiration into every project I touch.
After eight years as a stay-at-home mom, I discovered my talent for interior design while remodeling a home of my own. From there, I expanded into licensed general contracting, mastering the craft of managing projects efficiently, collaborating with the right partners, and bringing designs to life flawlessly.
Global Influence:
I believe creativity thrives on exploration. My travels — from Morocco to Paris, Mexico to New York to Singapore, and beyond — inform my designs and inspire every detail, from materials to color palettes. This global perspective also fuels my product line, including my first collection of candle holders inspired by a lamp post in Paris’ Place de la Concorde, available in the Extraordinary Things Store.
My Philosophy:
Every project I take on is personal, considered, and original. My goal is to create spaces that are not only functional but also evoke emotion and delight. Working with me means a hands-on, boutique experience — where your home is curated to reflect your life, tastes, and aspirations.
Personal Touch:
When I’m not designing or remodeling, I balance life with a blended family of six children, coaching soccer teams, traveling, and seeking new experiences. Family, friends, and meaningful connections are at the heart of everything I do — both personally and professionally.
There is always a way to incorporate some glamour while also having children and pets around.
